During quarter three 2006 to 2007 questionnaires were sent to all Leeds Voice representatives. The questionnaire asked specific questions about equal partnerships, the use of official Leeds Voice structures for seeking representation, the active contributions made by the voluntary, community and faith sector and whether the representatives felt they were valued and making a difference.

The scoring systems used for the survey used the Compact Code of Practice for Equal Partnerships as a measure. 39 representatives completed and returned the questionnaire giving the review a 57% return rate.

In addition to this paper-based survey, two focus groups were conducted and a separate workshop with the Children and Young People’s Services Forum. One focus group was held with Leeds Voice representatives and the other with statutory partners from across the neighbourhood and thematic partnerships.
