Who are Migrants? An Easy-to-use Guide

Yorkshire & Humber Regional Migration Partnership (YHRMP) have produced a new easy-to-use guide to different types of migrants in the UK. This document contains a diagram and short definitions as used by YHRMP and their partners.

The types of migrants included are those which either currently exist or are planned under new immigration rules, as at November 2008. This is intended to be an easy-to-use guide rather than an entirely accurate representation of immigration law. This is also a fast changing policy and legislative environment, and information can quickly become out of date. This information should be checked with an expert if in doubt.
