This Forum Aims:

• To inform and influence decision making at local level
• To work as a reference group for local VCF representatives
• To provide networking opportunities mutually beneficial

The forum hope to achieve this by:

• Having established links with decision makers eg. Area Management teams
• Having allocated VCF representatives in priority neighbourhood and local thematic partnerships, who will feed back to and from the forum;
• Coordinating VCF activity and showcasing the work
• Being proactive to responding to local needs in a coordinated fashion.

Why would I be a member of the forum?

• To share your knowledge and expertise and learn from others;
• To feed in and back from the local partnerships I attend on behalf of the sector
• To contribute to influencing decision making which can affect the services I provide to the community
• To be aware of gaps in provision and future opportunities.
