- To inform and influence decision making at local level
- To work as a reference group for local VCF representatives
- To provide networking opportunities mutually beneficial
The forum hope to achieve this by:
- Having established links with decision makers eg. Area Management teams
- Having allocated VCF representatives in priority neighbourhood and local thematic partnerships, who will feed back to and from the forum;
- Coordinating VCF activity and showcasing the work
- Being proactive to responding to local needs in a coordinated fashion.
Why would I be a member of the forum?
- To share your knowledge and expertise and learn from others;
- To feed in and back from the local partnerships I attend on behalf of the sector
- To contribute to influencing decision making which can affect the services I provide to the community
- To be aware of gaps in provision and future opportunities.
