Children Leeds Wedge Based Partnership

Linking directly into the Children Leeds Partnership structures the wedge based partnerships meet regularly to ensure that the city wide agenda is reflected in to locality arrangements. The wedge partnerships of which there are currently five

• South
  
• East
• North-East
• North-West
• West

Have a constitution that consists of representatives from Children Leeds, the area safeguarding groups, the clusters of schools (Extended Services) Health professionals, the Police and the voluntary, community and faith sector, representatives from Children’s Centres and representatives from the integrated processes team.

The partnerships have now merged with the Schools Area Management Boards and now includes representatives from both primary and secondary schools.

Leeds Voice has on each of the partnerships 2 representative places of which they have a responsibility to ensure that the communication link is maintained with other voluntary, community and faith organisations which is co-ordinated by the forum co-ordinator.
