The Environment Forum exists to represent its members at a strategic level ensuring their views are heard and expertise utilised.
The Forum has long recognised that environmental issues cannot be tackled in isolation. The interrelation between issues of the environment, society and the economy are beginning to gain wider understanding. The forum supports sustainable development approaches to meeting Leeds’ needs and, with this in mind, we are developing a new Vision and Work Programme
The key ways the forum links to strategic decision-making is through sending representatives to the Climate Change Strategy Group and Aire Action Leeds strategic partnerships; both are part of the Leeds Initiative.
